The Role
Working within a busy and varied environment, you'll play a key part in supporting logistics operations, with a particular focus on international movements. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal step into the industry, though any prior exposure to logistics or UK import processes would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating consignment movements between sites to meet delivery deadlines
- Supporting the day-to-day customs clearance of UK-bound shipments alongside clearance agents
- Developing into a site go-to for customs-related processes
- Maintaining and updating standard operating procedures, work instructions, and risk assessments
