Siamo Recruitment is currently looking forateam manager to start at their prestigious client's site based in Corby, NN18.
The shift pattern: Full Time
Rota: Monday to Friday
Shifts available:
10am-7pm,£13.79 per hour
Overtime: £20.68 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prioritise workload of the team, responding positively to daily operational challenges.
- Assist the Warehouse Team Manager in the allocation of work to the team, ensuring daily KPI's are met.
- Monitor daily picking and packing to ensure accuracy of stock is in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure Goods-in are received correctly and made available in accordance with deadlines and service level agreements.
- Ensure that the team are following warehouse processes at all times and escalate performance concerns.
- Monitor staff punctuality including break times, reporting any issues to the line manager.
- Make sure that any stock discrepancies are reported immediately.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly warehouse checks, complete and file documentation.
- Monitor & maintain health & safety in the warehouse.
- Ensure all logistics areas are organised and housekeeping standards are maintained as per the Company policy.
- Provide warehouse operatives with the training and support required to do their tasks.
- Deliver communication briefings so that all are aware of all company issues and that employees are able to offer input/improvements and feel involved.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong understanding of key warehouse processes, including Goods-In, picking, packing, and inventory control.
- Proven ability to track and achieve operational KPIs and maintain stock accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver briefings and coach team members.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
- Solid computer literacy (experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office/Excel).
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. xgikmsk
