This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled welder/fabricator looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role, excellent working hours and a salary of £40,000 per year. As a Fabrication MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, primarily mild steel, using MIG welding equipment, workshop machinery and technical drawings. You'll be involved throughout the fabrication process from measuring and preparing materials through to welding, finishing and final inspection. Operate MIG welding equipment to join mild steel and other metals. Weld in flat, vertical and horizontal positions. Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols and technical specifications. Measure, cut, drill and accurately fit materials prior to welding.
