Door Tester
Ampthill Road, Bedford
£13.50 per hour (2pm–5pm) | £16.50 per hour (5pm–12am)
Monday to Thursday, 2pm–12am

We are currently recruiting for a Door Tester to join a busy manufacturing team based on Ampthill Road, Bedford.
This is a hands-on role that involves moving doors through the production process, carrying out testing and using basic tools and computer systems.
What will you be doing?
- Moving doors from the assembly area through to the testing area
- Heavy lifting and handling of doors
- Using hand tools to fit brackets, cables and components
- Connecting and plugging in devices ready for testing
- Carrying out testing procedures
- Logging onto a PC and recording testing information
- Following instructions and health & safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy production team
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, production or warehouse environment is desirable
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
- Confident using basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work the full Monday–Thursday evening shift
