Our Client in Swadlincote, Derbyshire is looking for an experienced Administrator within their Technical Department Responsible for providing accurate and efficient administration support to the Technical department. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Hours 40 per week Monday - Friday / 08:00-16:30 or 08:30-17:00 Always promote Health & Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed. This extends to ensuring all reports are aware of and behave in accordance with the company Health & Safety guidelines Answer Technical calls and pass to relevant Engineer as required Provide support in monitoring email enquiries, print and pass to relevant engineer Data Entry of schedules specified by the engineers from plans and Bill of quantities, ensuring that we maintain and uphold the specified turnaround times and operational efficiency. Log new enquiries onto internal quoting system Upon completion of quote, log out date and mark as complete on all relevant systems. Ensure all required information sent back to the customer. File quotes on a daily basis in archives Ensure technical maintains an effective and competitive scheduling and special lintels pricing policy compare against competitors Improve response time on requests for information as directed by your line manager. Complete internal purchasing/paperwork for lightweight brick slips including ordering materials required for manufacturing. Follow up with customer all specials and value added products quoted. Run reports as required by Team Leaders or Technical Manager Read workings drawings once training is provided. Maintain the highest level of customer service, ensuring all quotes are returned within the agreed timescales. Undertake routine administrative tasks Provide technical support to engineers. Answer customer and in-house queries by utilising product knowledge Provide comparisons for internal and external customers using product knowledge. Provide pricing quotes for external and in-house customers. Provide support to other departments when required Ensure effective department and cross departmental communication at all times. Instil and maintain a customer service culture where the customer always comes first. This includes customer service culture for our internal and external customers.
