IMMEDIATE START!!! Siamo Recruitment is currently recruiting for a new Co-pack Team Leader operatives to work at our client's site in DIRFT, NN67GX. As they are already leaders in this section, and have a well-trusted and respected brand, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work in a driven and experienced team in a fast paced, and growing business.
Shift pattern: Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 (occasional weekend overtime)
Pay Rate: £13.62 per hour + £40 weekly bonus after training completed. Overtime AM/PM Monday to Saturday is paid at £17.27 p/h. Overtime AM/PM Sunday is paid at £21.27 p/h.
The successful Team Leader candidate will have various skills to perform their duties effectively. These include:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Completing start of shift brief and handovers
- Overseeing new starter introductions and referring or inductions
- Completing return to works and managing absences
- Coaching, developing and motivating the team and monitoring their performance on a daily, weekly basis to ensure all targets are being achieved and in line with the KPIs
- Managing the daily running of your team within a busy Co-packing environment
- Liaising with Supervisors, Line leads, and Management teams
- Following the Quality Management System, to improve quality and minimise errors
- Reviewing the performance of staff, identifying training needs and planning training
- Organising staffing, including line planning employees required to meet the KPIs
- Improving performance by raising efficiency
- Troubleshooting the equipment
- Raising to supervisor any incidents
- Ensuring production lines are kept to a high standard of cleanliness
- Reporting issues and breakdowns of the lines to the supervisor
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues
- Operating in compliance with all company policy
