As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and handling products, maintaining a safe work environment and providing support to the operation of the warehouse. The Warehouse Operative role will have the following responsibilities:
- Support general warehouse or factory duties.
- Picking goods off a pick list, using scanners to book out stock.
- Movement of goods by reach truck/LLOP.
- Quality checking goods.
- Unloading/loading of goods.
- Ensure to always follow health and safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will have the skillset below:
- A Valid Reach Truck Licence is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience is essential.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and with lifting heavy materials.
- Be numerate and literate, with a good attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good Communication Skills.
- A Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous.
