Were looking for an energetic, hardworking Production Operative to join our fast paced mechanical production department.
You will be working both alone and as part of a team, with efficiency and commitment to complete your work, and strive to maintain the business performance targets.
Using hand and air tools to produce varied products throughout all production areas, at the required efficiency whilst adhering to the desired quality.
Responsibilities: Adherence to H&S procedures and regulations.
Operating and maintaining factory and equipment Assembling products using hand tools and equipment within the production area.
Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements.
Packaging and labelling products for delivery internally and externally.
Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Requirements: Previous knowledge, experience of factory production lines e. g. basic assembly and quality control, or factory operative job role is preferable.
Knowledge of machinery, hand tools, equipment and materials used in production, a plus.
Reliable and conscientious work ethic to support all production requirements.
Friendly and approachable with good attention to detail.
Demonstrable skills with time and task management.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication abilities.
