Siamo are currently recruiting for an experienced Goods In Operative to join a busy warehouse operation based in Dordon (B78). This role is working within the Goods In department and requires candidates to have previous Reach Truck or VNA experience. You will be responsible for receiving, checking and storing incoming stock while maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety.
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1 AM Shift: Monday to Wednesday: 05:00 - 13:30, Thursday to Friday: 05:00 - 13:00
- Week 2 PM Shift: Monday to Wednesday: 13:30 - 22:00, Thursday to Friday: 13:00 - 21:30
The shifts rotate weekly between mornings and afternoons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading and receiving incoming deliveries
- Booking stock into the warehouse management system
- Operating Reach Truck or VNA equipment safely and efficiently
- Moving stock to designated storage locations
- Conducting stock checks and inventory control activities
- Maintaining a clean and organised Goods In area
- Ensuring all goods are checked for quality and accuracy
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous Reach Truck or VNA experience is essential
- Valid Reach Truck and/or VNA licence preferred
- Previous warehouse or Goods In experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
