Due to continued growth and expansion, our client based within the heart of Swindon are seeking an Audit Accountant to represent and develop within the progressive firm. As a general over the day to day will have you split between audit and accounts preparation, supporting Partners and Managers in the delivery of high-quality statutory audit and accounts services. As the Audit Accountant will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors offering great development and diversity of workload.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and delivering audit and accounts assignments, with the ability to take ownership of work from planning through to completion.

This Audit & Accounts Senior role has the following responsibilities:
- Managing audit and accounts assignments for charities, not-for profit and limited companies
- Assisting managers and partners with ad-hoc projects and additional assignments
- Liaising with clients and delivering information in a clear and timely manner
- Supervising, delegating, and reviewing work completed by junior team members
- Preparing statutory accounts and draft corporation and business tax computations
The ideal candidate for this role:
- Previous use of bookkeeping softwares such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Strong communication and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively to ensure that deadlines, budgets are consistently met
- Commercial awareness
- Proactive and confident working across a variety of deadlines
- ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience (qualification by experience will be considered)
Commutable from within 30 minutes: Swindon, Cirencester, Malmesbury, Royal Wootton Bassett, Wroughton, Shrivenham.
