Siamo recruitment are currently looking for Class 2 Drivers to join our client in the South West. This driving role involves transporting goods to local retailers.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Work with a variety of trailers to deliver goods to retail sites across the region. Every day brings something different!
- Secure your loads with straps, nets, and other safety equipment to protect goods and ensure nothing shifts in transit. Your care and attention help us keep deliveries safe and on time.
- Carry out a quick vehicle safety check at the start of each shift using your company phone helping to keep our fleet in great condition and your day running smoothly.
- Stay in touch with our transport team throughout the day, keeping them updated on progress so we can continue delivering an excellent service to our customers.
8 - 12 Hour shifts
Loading and unloading using tail lift and pump trucks or Forklift.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience delivering directly to client sites is a plus.
- A passion for excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Solid geographical knowledge to help you navigate efficiently and effectively.
