Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for a Proposal Writer to join a dynamic Procurement team in the IT sector. This is an office-based role working from the company's modern UK office based in Bangor, North Wales. This is a permanent opportunity to join a great company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timelines for drafting, editing, and approving proposal content to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with Sales to create professional Statements of Work for client proposals
- Coordinate multiple stages of proposal reviews and incorporate team feedback
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, tone, consistency, and clarity
- Support the end-to-end proposal process—planning tasks, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress
- Maintain a proposal pipeline, updating progress and records as needed
- Review RFPs, attend planning meetings, and help shape strategic responses
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and internal standards
- Research industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance proposal quality
- Suggest innovative ideas to improve the impact and competitiveness of submissions
- Build and maintain templates for frequently requested services
- Develop efficient workflows for producing recurring content
- Uphold writing standards by using templates and best practices
- Take on additional duties to support the team as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
