We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Refuse Collectors to join a busy team in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a long-term role, with the possibility of becoming permanent following a successful temporary period.

The Role:

  • Collecting refuse and waste from residential and commercial areas
  • Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes
  • Loading refuse and waste into the collection vehicle
  • Walking long distances throughout the working day, potentially up to 10 miles per day
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Maintaining a reliable and professional approach to work
  • Completing all assigned collections efficiently and safely

Working Hours and Pay:

  • Tuesday to Friday
  • Start time: 6:00am
  • Finish time: Until the daily work is completed
  • £12.71 per hour
  • Pay increases to £13.05 per hour after 12 weeks
  • You will be paid for 9 hours and 15 minutes per shift, regardless of whether the work is completed earlier
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity for suitable candidates
