We have a new permanent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a busy world-leading engineering company based in Leicester. The role involves maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management Systems, processes and product quality. You would be working closely with the engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams as well as suppliers and customers, to ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory and ISO/IATF standards.
Days/Hours of Work: Monday Thursday from 06:00am 18:00pm Flexible starts and finishes total 39 hours per week worked over 4 days.
The role:
- Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality procedures, processes and documentation
- Conduct internal audits
- Investigate product and process non-conformities
- Analyse quality data, trends and process performance and identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- Apply APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow and other quality control activities
- Support the production team with problem-solving, process improvement and quality control
- Support with customer complaints and quality issues
- Prepare quality reports

About you:
- Have a qualification in engineering, quality management or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of quality, manufacturing and quality assurance principles
- Problem solving experience
- Experience conducting Internal Audits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Have a structured approach to problem solving
