As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in keeping their materials moving safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse to ensure maximum production output. This role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Goods in - Load and unload deliveries of raw materials and finished battery units.
  • Move stock to and from production areas and storage.
  • Conduct regular forklift safety checks and report any issues.
  • Support inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Comply with all health and safety procedures on site.
  • Support general warehouse or factory duties when not on the truck.

The ideal candidate will have the skillset below:

  • Minimum of 2 years Warehouse Experience is essential.
  • A Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence or Reach Truck ideally D2 is essential.
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and with lifting heavy materials.
  • Be numerate and literate with good attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous.
