We are working with a world-leading engineering company that prides itself on providing the highest quality bespoke products for the heavy plant industry, in the UK and globally. We are looking for a CNC Machine Setter/Operator to operate CNC Turning Machines with Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls. The role will involve setting up the machines for production, making adjustments as required and ensuring quality of products in line with the drawing provided.
Monday – Thursday: 14:30pm – 23:00pm
Rate of Pay: £14.50 per Hour
Temp to Perm Opportunity- Set CNC Turning machines for production and low batch quantities within allocated times
- Make adjustments to the machine settings as required
- Ensure quality expectations, as per drawing and planning are achieved
- Experience of setting and operating CNC Turning machines of all types of materials for at least 4 years
- Must be conversant with the use of inspection instruments, to measure diameter, surface texture, roundness, concentricity etc.
- Ideally apprentice served in a machining discipline
- Knowledge of good machine working practices
- Good knowledge of the English language, to comprehend health and safety instructions/training
