Siamo Group are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, ideal for candidates with experience in surface preparation, filling, sanding and using mechanical and hand-held tools.
Please note: This role is based in a remote location with limited public transport access. Candidates must have their own reliable transport to travel to and from the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Filling holes, gaps and imperfections in products to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Using mechanical sanding machines and other sanding equipment to smooth and prepare surfaces
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Carrying out general finishing and preparation work to a high standard
- Inspecting surfaces to ensure work meets required quality standards
- Following instructions and job specifications accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, construction, joinery, finishing or a similar hands-on environment is preferred
- Experience using sanding machines, mechanical aids, power tools or hand tools is desirable
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently xiskglj as well as part of a team
- Physically capable of carrying out a hands-on role
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Due to the remote location of the site, own reliable transport is essential
