Siamo Recruitment is currently looking fora transport administrator to start at their prestigious client's site based in Corby, NN18.

  • The shift pattern: Full Time
  • Rota: Monday to Friday
    Shifts available:
    2pm-10pm,£12.71 per hour

Overtime: £19.06 per hour
Responsibilities
Goods in duties, check in and check out the drivers.

Uploading PODs onto the transport system.

Liaise with the warehouse team regarding inbound and outbound operations, ensuring drivers are directed to the correct bays and loaded with the correct consignments.

Track and report on shipment status, resolve any delays or problem that occur during transit.

Responded to customer enquiries per day via phone and email.

Adding and organizing all the jobs on the spreadsheet.

Comprehensive document management support including photocopying, scanning, printing, ensuring legal compliance
Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and transport teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Carry out daily checks of trailers in the yard.

Report trailer defects promptly and arrange for the mechanic to carry out the necessary repairs.

Pre brief drivers and explain their run.

Requirements:
Good level of English.

Demonstrated experience in a smiliar warehouse or distribution environment.

Previous admin / customer service experience.
