Job Description

Area Manager Siamo Recruitment (on behalf of our client)Location: Corby, NN18Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Shift

Service:10pm-6am, nights We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: Previous experience in an Area Manager, Operations Manager, Team Manager, or similar leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams.

Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to drive performance and achieve operational targets.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

A proactive approach with a commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence.

Key

Responsibilities: Managing and overseeing operational performance across designated warehouse areas.

Leading, motivating, and supporting Team Managers, Team Leaders, and Operatives.

Monitoring productivity, quality, and service levels to ensure targets are achieved.

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.

Managing staffing levels, resource allocation, and workforce planning.

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing operational efficiencies.

Investigating and resolving operational issues, escalating where necessary.

Producing reports and communicating performance updates to senior management.
