Siamo recruitment are currently looking for Class 2 Drivers to join our client in the Tiverton EX15 area, in a Temp to Perm Position. This position would mean working for one of the UK's leading drinks distributors. This driving role involves transporting stock of larger ales and craft beers from the depot to customers. This role will also involve physical manual handling. Full time, 48 hours per week. Competitive salary and extensive benefits.

Key responsibilities:

  • Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
  • Supporting the Driver's Mates and Warehouse team in loading and unloading stock.
  • Using knowledge of the local region to safely deliver stock on time.
  • Considering Health and Safety through all processes.
  • Building strong working relationships with customers and other departments.

Experience and attributes:

  • Must hold a current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of the Highway Code and driving (Health and Safety) legislation.
  • Manual handling experience and/or training is desirable, although full training will be provided during induction.
  • Knowledge of the local region.
  • Customer service experience.

This role will be a Temporary to Permanent position, becoming permanent after 12 weeks. The full time position will involve working 48 hours a week, predominantly Monday to Friday, although flexibility will be required to work 5 days in a 7 day period. The role includes early starts from 4:30am.

Salary of £698.61 per week. Benefits include; Product allowance, bonus scheme, generous holiday allowance, access to 24/7 GP services, access to a range of high street discounts, weekly sporting event ticket availability, company pension contributions and a yearly pay review.
