Job Description
Desborough, NN14
£14.89 – £21.10 Per Hour
We are recruiting Class 1 driver to join a team based out of a warehouse in Desborough, NN14.
The role involves driving products to large warehouse and cash and carry warehouses across England. There is little or no unloading required (just a couple of sites so need to unload is minimal). There are 2 3 drops per day.
All delivery sites are located close to the motorways, making for easy and quick drops.
You will responsible for ensuring accurate paperwork is completed for each drop.
We are offering options for Day or Nights shifts.
Days: Start times between 02:00am and 10:00am Options for 4 on 4 off or Monday to Friday
Nights: Start times between 13:00pm and 21:00pm Monday to Friday
Shifts are 10.5 11hrs long and generous OT is offered over 50hrs.
The Role:
- Delivering to large major retailer warehouses and large cash and carry warehouses
- Ensuring paperwork is completed for each drop
- 2 -3 drops around England per day
- 10 11.5hrs shifts
- There is very little unloading, with only two customers that require unloading so its very rare.
- Temp to Perm Opportunity
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid full UK Class 1 HGV License
- Must have at least 2 years Class 1 HGV driving experience
- Knowledge of road safety
- Experience of delivery to warehouses
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and hard working
