Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site equipment, machinery, and buildings to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maximise productivity. You will work closely with production and management teams, carrying out maintenance, repairs, and safety checks while ensuring all work is completed. This role would suit someone with good communication skills, a proactive attitude, and previous maintenance engineering experience.

This Maintenance Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Carry out PAT testing of equipment
  • Complete general property maintenance
  • Working with the maintenance team to ensure production targets are met
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to suppliers specification
  • Liaise with supervision and production control to ensure equipment is available for use

The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Engineer vacancy will have the following attributes and exposure:

  • Experience in electrical and mechanical systems
  • 18th edition qualified is advantageous
  • Prior maintenance exposure across property and machinery
  • The ability to work to manufacturers specifications
