We here at Siamo Recruitment are working in partnership with a family feel firm looking to onboard an attentive and personable talent to their team. This role will cover all areas of the business including accounts, quoting, stock management, customer service and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator looking to join a successful and growing business. The role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to make a visible contribution to the company’s ongoing success. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will take ownership of key accounting and administrative duties, working closely with the team.

Our client specialises in the production and distribution of products within the logistics sector. Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role is essential, and industry knowledge would be advantageous.

This Office Administrator role will hold the below responsibilities:

  • Creation and processing of client quotes
  • Preparation and submission of production sheets, along with stock management
  • Processing of payroll and carrying out credit control
  • Liaising with hauliers and organising collections
  • Reconciling invoices and processing accounts and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting cash flow management and forecasting
  • Liaising with Head Office, production teams and external agencies

The ideal candidate for the Office Administrator vacancy will hold:

  • Previous Accounts exposure is essential
  • Exposure uploading data and reconciling through an account software is advantageous
  • Previous use of SAGE
  • Naturally confident communicator with the ability to build external and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to confidently multi-task and prioritise by importance
  • Natural team player
  • Ability to facilitate and support a small business
  • Full UK Driving License and own vehicle due to location
