We are seeking dedicated and vigilant SELF EMPLOYED with UTR Security Officers with Gateman experience to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. Your role will involve , conducting patrols, and enforcing security protocols.
NOTE this is a 24/7 active site.
Duties:
The role of the gateman is to man the gatehouse, open / close the barrier/gates for material / plant access and restrict access through this area unless instructed otherwise from our clients. You will be required to log vehicles and visitors and deliveries onto site documenting these activities.
The role of the security guard is to ensure all the main entrance and exit gates are locked after the last person has left site, be alert at all times and every hour conduct patrols ensuring the compound, its assets and perimeter security is secured.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as needed, also escalating to senior management when appropriate.
- Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary
Write detailed incident reports and daily log sheets documenting any security-related incidents or violations immediately post an incident.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries or concerns.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures is preferred
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in the English language.

You must be in possession of a valid Frontline SG/DS or CP SIA Licence.
You must be in possession of your own mode of transportation
