A growing and innovative construction organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to join its expanding team. This is a varied role combining factory-based electrical work with site installation, testing, commissioning, customer liaison and project support. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, working collaboratively with internal teams, customers and site personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out first fix and second fix electrical installations across factory and customer sites.
- Test, inspect and commission electrical installations in line with current regulations and industry standards.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Create, update and interpret electrical drawings, layouts and schematics to support project delivery.
- Liaise with customers and site teams to discuss electrical requirements, resolve queries and provide practical solutions.
- Coordinate electrical requirements throughout projects, ensuring installations meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Order electrical materials and manage stock levels to ensure projects are adequately supported.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Support a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider project team.
- Travel to sites across the UK mainland and Channel Islands as required, including occasional overnight stays.
