Our client is seeking an organised and detail-focused Goods In Coordinator to join their Warehouse & Distribution team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating daily goods-in activities, managing delivery schedules, checking documentation, processing stock receipts and ensuring accurate communication across the operation. This is a fast-paced administrative role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing the daily goods-in delivery schedule and allocating achievable delivery time slots.
  • Checking previous-day delivery documentation against goods received and identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Supporting the resolution of purchase order issues that prevent deliveries from being processed.
  • Creating transport numbers for upcoming deliveries.
  • Processing stock receipts through the ERP system.
  • Identifying and reporting stock variances, identification issues and batch discrepancies.
  • Completing all required procedures, documentation and paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Creating, recording and distributing KPI information relating to haulier delivery performance and accuracy.
  • Recording and distributing goods-in receipting accuracy KPIs.
  • Reversing incorrectly booked-in deliveries and rebooking them correctly.
  • Processing bulk paperwork and scanning documentation against purchase orders for accounts purposes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is communicated effectively to relevant teams.
  • Supporting other areas of the business with reasonable requests when required.
  • Following all company procedures, risk assessments and health and safety requirements.
  • Using appropriate PPE and following relevant safety procedures at all times.
  • Supporting high standards of hygiene, quality and traceability.
  • Highlighting non-conformances and ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.
  • Maintaining accurate traceability records for stock and materials.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the goods-in operation.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a Goods In, Warehouse, Logistics or Distribution environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Experience using SAP ESSENTIAL.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask in a time-pressured environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently whilst also contributing positively to a team.
  • Flexible approach to duties and working practices.
  • Positive, conscientious and proactive attitude.
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
