An established business in Harrogate centre is looking to appoint a Finance and Office Assistant. They can offer one day WFH and a 35 hour standard week, their modern offices are close to the train and bus station, with free on-street parking available a short walk away.

Duties:

  • Managing finance related inboxes across private office and corporate entities
  • Maintaining organised financial records, documents, and filing systems
  • Uploading and processing supplier invoices across multiple entities
  • Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting payment run preparation
  • Chasing and collating documentation and approvals
  • Assisting with expense processing (including private office expenditure)
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve basic queries
  • Supporting general administrative tasks across the finance function
  • Assisting with basic finance duties such as reconciliations and ledger support (training can be provided)
  • Providing support during month end processes

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in a finance and office administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with financial data and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills

Hours: 35 hours per week with Fridays work from home, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.
