We are working with a growing GMP manufacturing business in Thirsk to recruit a Part-Time Quality Administrator to join their Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop a career within Quality Assurance and regulated manufacturing. Full training will be provided, and flexibility can be offered around how the 30 hours per week are worked.
Overview
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Quality department through a broad range of administrative and quality-related activities. Working closely with colleagues across multiple functions, you will help maintain GMP compliance while contributing to key quality objectives and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Quality department and wider business
- Prepare and maintain technical and product release documentation
- Review batch records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate sample receipt, logging, storage and despatch activities
- Support the administration of quality systems, including Change Controls, Deviations, Investigations and CAPAs
- Assist with internal and external audits and follow-up actions
- Maintain quality records and databases to ensure accurate reporting
- Liaise directly with customers to ensure quality requirements and service expectations are met
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental objectives
About You
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a quality, manufacturing or regulated environment
- Knowledge of GMP or quality systems would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
