An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Senior Administrator to join a growing business based in Thirsk. This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of the organisation, supporting day-to-day operations, coordinating with international suppliers, and providing key administrative support to the sales and wider business teams. Working within a close-knit and supportive team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring orders, communications, documentation, and operational processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for an international supplier, coordinating orders, deliveries and lead times
  • Manage purchase orders, confirmations and delivery schedules
  • Resolve supply chain queries and maintain accurate supplier records
  • Process customer orders and provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Prepare quotations, order confirmations and delivery documentation
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate any supply issues proactively
  • Maintain CRM records and customer information
  • Produce reports and sales-related documentation as required
  • Manage office correspondence, filing and document control
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare agendas and minutes
  • Handle incoming calls and email enquiries
  • Maintain compliance and operational documentation
  • Support HR administration including onboarding and employee records
  • Manage office supplies and supplier relationships
  • Assist with invoicing, expenses and purchase ledger administration
