The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We are working closely with a Thirsk based business who require a part-time Bookkeeper, on a permanent basis, as their current person is due to retire. Preferably, they would like someone in place before the beginning of March in order for a good handover. This will likely be 2 days/week and 3 days/week towards the end of the month.
Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly payroll on Sage; including pension/PAYE/NI
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit Card reconciliations
- Purchase Invoice management
- Upload customer invoices to Sage 50
- Credit control
- Monthly profit & loss reports
- CIS monthly reconciliation
- Quarterly VAT reconciliation
- Assist external Accountants with bi-yearly and year-end accounts preparation
- Accounts inbox maintenance
Requirements/Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- AAT L4 qualified or equivalent in experience
- Clean license and own car
- Any experience with compliance would be preferred but not essential
