The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We are working closely with a Thirsk based business who require a part-time Bookkeeper, on a permanent basis, as their current person is due to retire. Preferably, they would like someone in place before the beginning of March in order for a good handover. This will likely be 2 days/week and 3 days/week towards the end of the month.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing weekly payroll on Sage; including pension/PAYE/NI
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit Card reconciliations
  • Purchase Invoice management
  • Upload customer invoices to Sage 50
  • Credit control
  • Monthly profit & loss reports
  • CIS monthly reconciliation
  • Quarterly VAT reconciliation
  • Assist external Accountants with bi-yearly and year-end accounts preparation
  • Accounts inbox maintenance

Requirements/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • AAT L4 qualified or equivalent in experience
  • Clean license and own car
  • Any experience with compliance would be preferred but not essential
