We are working closely with a business on the outskirts of Thirsk who are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The primary functions of the role will span across purchase ledger and payroll, with support across other accounting departments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recording invoices
- Supplier payment runs
- Handling supplier statements
- Resolving any purchase ledger queries
- Processing weekly wages
- Maintaining employee records; including calculations, deductions and benefits
- Supporting audits and year-end processes
- Remaining up to date on HMRC and PAYE regulations
Experience:
- AAT or equivalent in experience
- Previous experience in similar role/s
- Great communicator and team player
