We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing company in the construction design sector, looking to add a Technical Coordinator to their collaborative team. You’ll act as a key link between the design and project teams, ensuring technical drawings and information are accurate, aligned, and efficiently delivered across all stages of a project.
Key Duties
- Coordinate between designers and project teams
- Produce and amend 2D CAD drawings (e.g. insulation layouts, roof falls)
- Manage technical documents and drawing registers
- Support with compliance packs and handover documents
- Respond to technical queries and assist project coordination
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D/Revit a plus)
- Understanding of construction workflows and detailing
- Strong organisation and version control skills
- 1-2 years in a technical/design support role
- Relevant qualification (HNC/HND or degree in Design, Construction or related)
- Experience with roofing, waterproofing or insulation layouts is highly beneficial
