As an experienced Practice Accountant, you will manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial needs are met with precision and professionalism. You will be adept at working autonomously, while also providing guidance and supervision to junior staff members. Due to the level of this position, the firm can offer career progression to a Partner position with a Buy in option.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts for a variety of clients including Sole Traders, LLP’s, partnerships, Limited Companies, Group companies, Trusts, and Charities.
- Conduct on-site client visits, fostering strong client relationships and addressing financial queries.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced team members, ensuring quality control and adherence to best practices.
- Generate management reports and participate in client planning sessions to optimize financial strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy role within a practice environment.
- Proficiency with accountancy software and packages such as SAGE, IRIS, XERO, and VT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
- AAT, ACCA, ACA qualification.
- QBE considered if working at a senior level.
