A well-established and highly regarded organisation in North Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Sales Events Administrator to join their team. They are looking for a candidate who is personable, bubbly, highly organised, and confident when it comes to chasing payments or managing expectations professionally when required. This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment, particularly during the summer season when the business is at its busiest.
We’re looking for a proactive administrator who is confident managing customer relationships, coordinating events, and keeping on top of invoicing and operational administration.
Key Responsibilities- Managing all customer enquiries via phone and email
- Handling event enquiries including show rounds, quotations, and bookings
- Generating both proactive and reactive sales opportunities
- Coordinating all event administration from booking through to completion
- Issuing contracts, confirmations, invoices, and chasing overdue payments
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey
- Supporting schedules, staff rotas, reservations, and stock counts
- Liaising with operational teams to ensure smooth event delivery
- Assisting on event days to ensure seamless execution
- Attending meetings, taking minutes, and communicating actions
- Occasionally covering Front Desk duties and serving customers
- Supporting the wider marketing activities of the business
- Previous experience within business administration, events, hospitality, or sales support
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident multitasker with strong attention to detail
- Customer service focused with a positive and approachable personality
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Confident using computer systems and software
- Comfortable chasing invoices and managing situations assertively when needed
- Monday to Friday working pattern with flexibility on start times
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
