Im working with a rapidly expanding client who is looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work across two sites in Ripon and Harrogate, contributing to high-quality, on-time project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce work to a high standard with strong attention to detail
- Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately
- Interpret and work from design plans and technical drawings
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
- Assemble and disassemble components as required
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
- Manage materials and resources safely and responsibly
Requirements
- Proven experience in metal fabrication
- Good awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Full UK driving licence (essential, due to travel between Ripon and Harrogate sites)
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, depending on project needs
- Self-employed status preferred but not essential
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks, including lifting materials and working in different conditions
