We are recruiting for a Regional Financial Planning Manager to join an established and growing financial planning team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced adviser who enjoys developing people, building strong client relationships and driving the continued success of a regional financial planning function.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading a team of Financial Planning Consultants, ensuring exceptional client service, regulatory compliance and commercial growth across the region.
The Role
As Regional Financial Planning Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning services while leading and developing a successful advisory team.
Key responsibilities will include
- Managing and supporting a team of Financial Planning Consultants, providing leadership, coaching and ongoing development.
- Overseeing performance management and ensuring advisers meet agreed objectives and professional standards.
- Supporting advisers through Training & Competence requirements and maintaining a strong compliance culture.
- Working with clients to understand their financial goals and delivering tailored, holistic financial planning solutions.
- Ensuring clients receive consistently high-quality ongoing advice and service.
- Managing and developing client relationships while supporting business growth opportunities.
- Achieving individual and team revenue targets.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and professional contacts to identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members when required.
- Ensuring all regulatory, compliance and operational requirements are maintained.
- Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to wider professional services where appropriate.
- Contributing to the ongoing strategy and development of the financial planning team.
About You
- We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning professional with:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential).
- Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable).
- Minimum three years’ experience within a client-facing financial advisory role.
- Previous experience leading, managing or developing a team within financial planning.
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations, including COBS, COCON and SYSC requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of financial planning principles, investments, pensions and protection solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Commercial awareness and experience supporting business development activity.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality client outcomes.
- A full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel across regional offices.
