We are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a growing engineering business in Wetherby. This is a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to make improvements, reduce costs and take ownership of the procurement and supply chain function. The business has recently been acquired by a larger group and is continuing to grow, making this an exciting time to join. The Role Manage and lead the procurement team Take overall ownership of procurement and supply chain Manage and negotiate with suppliers Identify cost-saving opportunities Improve purchasing and stock management processes Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality and service Work closely with internal teams to improve purchasing efficiency About You You'll need a strong technical procurement background , ideally within engineering, manufacturing or a similar technical environment . We're looking for someone who is: Experienced at Procurement Manager, Senior Buyer or similar level Confident managing suppliers and negotiating Experienced in leading a procurement team Commercially minded with a focus on cost saving Proactive and confident introducing change Comfortable taking ownership and getting stuck in A strong communicator and relationship builder A full UK driving licence and own transport TPBN1_UKTJ
