We are seeking a proactive and flexible Accountant to join a growing Accountancy Practice. This role requires someone who can effectively manage multiple priorities, deliver high-quality work to clients, and travel to client premises when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory financial statements for a portfolio of small to medium-sized, owner-managed businesses.
- Perform tax computations in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Confidently use accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, and Iris.
- Liaise with clients both remotely and on-site, building strong relationships and understanding of their needs.
- Manage workloads across competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Experience:
- Experience using accountancy software (Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Iris).
- ACA, ACCA or L4 AAT qualified.
- Recent general practice background, with exposure to accounts and/or audit.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Proven experience of delivering excellent client service.
- Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
- The ability to travel to clients’ premises as required.
