An established Accountancy Practice in Newcastle is seeking an Accountant to join its Accounting & Business Support team. This role is ideal for an ACCA or ACA qualified accountant, qualified by experience, or someone approaching final exams, who is looking to take the next step in their career within a varied and client-focused role.
The Role:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for a broad portfolio of clients, including limited companies, LLPs, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and charities.
- Drafting corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns with supporting computations.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, with the opportunity to review their work.
- Resolving technical queries and ensuring work is ready for partner review.
- Audit exposure is available and would be beneficial.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong technical accounting and tax skills.
- Confident communicator with good organisational abilities.
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
