We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Tax candidate to a chartered Accountancy Practice in Huddersfield. This role is currently going through a period of growth, including the acquisition of new tax clients so the team need someone who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage personal tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Provide advisory services on personal tax matters, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and tax planning.
- Liaise with clients to resolve tax queries and provide excellent client service.
- Assist in payroll processing and related compliance tasks, leveraging payroll experience to streamline operations.
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and communicate impacts to clients and colleagues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Solid experience in personal tax compliance and advisory services.
- ACA, ACCA or ATT qualified, desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
