We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected professional services firm for an experienced Payroll Professional to join their friendly team in Beverley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least two years' payroll experience who enjoys managing client payrolls, building strong relationships, and delivering an accurate, professional service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a varied client portfolio
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation
  • Processing statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.)
  • Preparing payroll reports and responding to client queries
  • Assisting with new payroll setups and supporting CIS where required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' payroll experience (ideally within a practice or bureau environment)
  • Good knowledge of RTI, auto-enrolment pensions and payroll legislation
  • Experience with Sage, BrightPay and/or Xero is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A professional, customer-focused approach

What's on offer:

  • Salary of £27,000-£32,000 flex DOE
  • Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Hybrid/flexible working options
  • 22 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays)
