We are working with a Northallerton-based business who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant on a part-time basis to join them on a 12-month contract. This would be circa. 20 hours per week.
You will ideally have a variety of experience across accounts and be confident in your ability to supervise and support the wider finance team. They are looking for someone who can bring knowledge in spreadsheets and analysis, and be able to summarise complex reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Generating and analysing accounts reports
- Picking out any discrepancies and querying with the appropriate departments
- Provide financial reports for senior leadership
- Explain financial performance to non-finance managers
- Identify areas to reduce costs or improve efficiency
- Improve financial reporting systems
- Develop financial models
- Be a point of contact for any finance queries
You will have:
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to use initiative to organise themselves and others to ensure deadlines are met
- A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively
