Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 3 years experience working within an accountancy practice
- A methodical, organised, and proactive working style
- AAT qualified, ACCA or ACA qualified/finalist qualifications (preferred, though strong practical experience will also be considered)
- Audit exposure (advantageous but not essential)
- Confidence using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and CaseWare
Responsibilities
- Producing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Supporting the delivery of audit assignments
- Preparing corporation tax calculations
- Creating management accounts and financial reports for client review
- Reviewing VAT returns and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Responding to client enquiries and providing day-to-day technical support
