We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Senior on behalf of a respected and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career, contributing to high-quality client service while supporting junior team members. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day client accounting tasks accurately and efficiently
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Prepare accounts, tax, VAT and PAYE documentation for HMRC
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and legal requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collect and review client documentation in a timely manner
- Record chargeable time accurately and support billing recovery
- Organise workload to ensure timely delivery and readiness for review
Candidate Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or actively studying
- Confident using cloud-based systems, especially Xero
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Dependable, collaborative work ethic
