Accounts & Audit Senior
Location: Leeds / Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000-£45,000
An established and growing accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join its team, with excellent long-term progression opportunities.
The Role
You'll manage your own portfolio of predominantly privately owned clients, acting as a key point of contact and providing a broad range of accounts and tax services.
- Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations for companies, partnerships, LLPs and sole traders
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Producing management accounts
- Dealing with HMRC and Companies House
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Assisting with client onboarding and new business
- Providing proactive commercial and accounting advice
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE with strong practice experience
- Proven experience managing your own client portfolio
- Strong technical accounts preparation and tax knowledge
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Confident using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar accounting software
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Audit experience is desirable but not essential
