Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager on an interim basis for 3–4 months to support financial operations, reporting, and business decision-making.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure across a variety of finance functions, including management accounts, compliance, audit, and operational finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
- Process journals, including payroll, accruals, and prepayments
- Maintain fixed asset records and submit necessary reconciliations
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations (Bank, Payroll, Debtors, Creditors, etc.)
- Monitor and resolve customer and supplier claims
- Ensure accurate supplier reconciliations and report discrepancies
- Support audit preparation and provide financial data to auditors
- Assist with statutory reporting and tax computations
- Complete required financial surveys and filings
Qualifications & Experience
- Ideally fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or working towards qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ finance experience
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP / IFRS)
- Experience with month-end processes, reconciliations, and VAT
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
