An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing and forward-thinking accountancy and business advisory firm. Working as part of a collaborative Accounts & Business Advisory team, the successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, compliance and advisory services while building strong, trusted client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the year.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and groups.
- Prepare management accounts and VAT returns for a range of clients.
- Support clients with accounting and tax compliance while ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value through additional services.
- Promote cloud accounting solutions and support clients with digital accounting processes.
- Work closely with managers on planning assignments, meeting deadlines and delivering excellent client service.
- Research and apply relevant accounting standards and legislation to provide practical solutions.
- ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified.
- At least three years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, Companies Act requirements and FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive, client-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Competitive salary - £38,000-£45,000 DOE
- Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home).
