We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join a busy packing team within a well-established produce business. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and will play an important role in helping strengthen the company’s reputation as a supplier of choice.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work within a fast-paced environment and who has strong warehouse or stores experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Packing fresh produce to required specifications and quality standards
  • Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
  • Checking produce for quality and presentation before packing
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the packing area
  • Assisting with stock rotation and storage organisation
  • Supporting the wider production and packing teams as required
  • Following all company health & safety and food hygiene procedures
  • Ensuring orders are completed accurately and within required timescales
Requirements:
  • Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Be able to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Be flexible to work overtime when required
  • Previous packing or food production experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
  • FLT license
Salary: £13.20 - £13.50 per hour DOE
Working hours: 8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Occasional Saturday work required
A day off in the week if a Saturday is worked
