We are currently recruiting for a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Hull for an Accounts Senior or Semi Senior to join its Business Services team dealing with clients mainly in the agricultural and landed estates sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of statutory financial statements over a varied portfolio of clients including companies, limited liability partnerships, partnerships, sole traders, trusts and preparation of the associated tax computations.
- Support the supervision, coaching and development of trainees.
- Preparation and review of VAT returns.
- Assist with client queries.
- Preparation and submission of other statutory returns and filings.
- Work closely with our tax and audit teams as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience:
- The successful candidate will have several years’ experience working in practice and be either qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified AAT.
- Experience with clients in the landed estates and agricultural sector is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Ability to use a range of software packages including Excel, Word, Outlook, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, Farmplan, Key Prime and IRIS would be an advantage.
