Our client, based in Brompton-on-Swale, is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their team. As an integral part of the business, you’ll provide expert advice and hands-on support across a wide range of HR areas—from employee relations to recruitment, policy development, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Support employee relations cases (grievances, disciplinary, absence, etc.)
  • Assist with performance management and improvement plans
  • Manage recruitment processes and onboarding for specific roles
  • Develop and implement HR policies in line with current legislation
  • Advise on key HR topics including diversity, conduct, appraisals, and conflict resolution
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics
  • Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, and DE&I initiatives
  • Support organisational change, such as restructures or policy changes
  • Liaise with external HR support providers and advisory bodies as needed
About You
  • Experience in an HR Advisor or similar role (2-5 years ideally)
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • CIPD qualified or working towards (or equivalent)
  • Organised and able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • High level of discretion and professional integrity
  • Confident user of Microsoft 365 tools
